Makes up for using turkey with the fat in the cheese and tater tots
This sounds so good. I used to make this when my kids were little but used hamburger. The low fat version sounds so much healthier. I will rate once I have tried it which will be very soon. Brings back good memories.
Make it 5-star by adding a layer of frozen mixed vegetables on top of the meat mixture underneath the potatoes ... also adds nutritional value to the recipe and it tastes great!
Don't use Cream of Broccoli Soup! I added a little non-fat yogurt. This was interesting. It looked nice, texture okay.
Awesome! we loved it, my daughter loved the tater tots, my husband loved it all, and it filled us up for a low amount of calories!
I've made this for my family twice now and it has been a huge hit! Thank you for the kid friendly, yet low calorie meal option!
This is great! I made it tonight for a quick dinner and everyone enjoyed it. I used low fat cream of chicken soup, two cups of frozen french cut beans and omitted the cheese. I spread out one serving of tater tots on my piece but I topped the rest of the pan as shown in the picture. Tasty!
Very good, very easy and love the calories!!
Looooveeee Tater Tot casserole, especially this lower fat version!!! I usually put the cheese on top of the meat mixutre then top with the Taters. I don't like the crispy cheese on top either.... Other than that, this is perfect! Side with a salad or a green veggie and you're GTG!!
