Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Almost done cooking. Tastes and smells great. I am going to put mine in flour tortillas with a little pepper jack cheese and fat free sour cream, delish!
I used 1 can pinto, 1 can black and 1 can mexican corn drained and double rinsed. Instead of the burrito mix in a packet (high sodium), I use a taco seasoning I go online. Yummy!! Add a few drops of beano if you need to as well.
Love it, I substiuted the burrito seasoning for my own spices, too much sodium for me. I also used black beans and ground chicken. This is a family favorite.
Meckie....you are in my prayers.
way to many carbs
I've turned into a veritable food cop since my husband had his heart attack. He's gone along with the program alright, but he does miss his tacos & burritos. I'm going to add some fat free cheese and sour cream, & wrap it all in a whole wheat tortilla this weekend. You'll be his new favorite person!
I like the idea of adding ground turkey --- better for you, and lower in fat
