You can also oven roast radishes or saute them like potatoes. Use a bit of reserved duck or chicken fat and some fresh herbs, and it's amazing.
A good substitute for hashbrowns. I used less oil so my calories were lower. I tried to eat them plain but the taste was too different for me, so I added ketchup.
