Filling comfort food!! The only modification we made was garlic salt to the meat. Put it over a cup of mashed potatoes with a side of green beans with garlic. Amazing and so filling. Supper came to just under 600 calories total! This recipe is a keeper!
Very good, but the sirloin was tasteless. I will add salt and spices next time to the beef before sauteing it.
I tried this last night, with a couple of modifications: seasoned the beef with a blend of salt, pepper, and garlic powder before cooking, omitted soy sauce, used olive oil instead of butter, and added a chopped bell pepper to the carmelizing veg. It was delicious. I can't wait to make it again.
