Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

1 Pkg. of 93% Lean Ground Turkey 19.2 oz.
1/8 cup seasoned bread crumbs (optional - if you leave bread crumbs out, you can subtract 12 calories per serving.)
    1/2 cup diced onions
    2 green onions diced finely
    1 clove garlic minced
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh spinach
1/2 cup celery finely chopped (optional)
    2 egg whites, lightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. lite soy sauce (optional)
Red pepper flakes to taste. (optional)
    2 Tbsp. Flax Meal** (optional)

Directions

1. In a large bowl, mix the ground turkey, seasoned bread crumbs, onions*, spinach, celery, egg whites, minced garlic, Worcestershire, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. I also add a couple shakes of red pepper flakes because we like them spicy...optional. Form into 6 patties.

*Saute the onions & green onions before adding them to the turkey to soften them up.

2. Cook the patties in a frying pan (spray well with cooking spray) over medium heat. Be sure to get the internal temperature to 180 degrees F. Yum!

Delicious!! My picky 11 year old hates turkey burgers, spinach, and onions but LOVED these burgers!! I made them in my Ninja indoor grill and they were perfection. Juicy, packed with flavor, and moist. I used crackers instead of breadcrumbs, and no peppers or flax. I will definitely make again! TY! - 8/17/19
