I've done this before myself. I usually use oil and vinegar (olive oil being a healthy oil to use) and often make my homemade salad dressing, which just means adding a few spices like garlic and lemon pepper (Mrs. Dash has a lemon pepper blend with no salt). You can also marinate 1-2 hrs/ overnight. - 2/23/10

I do something similar in that I use the dressing for a marinade. I take it out after marinating all day, sprinkle with a little salt and fresh ground pepper. I either grill it or cook it stove top. I also like to top it with my recipe for Sun-Dried Tomato Bruschetta. Yum! - 9/19/07

    Hi:

I have made this for several years and really like it. I do, however, line dish with aluminum foil and I also sprinkle some Mrs. Dash seasoning (whatever kind you like) on it. Also, to the person who uses thighs, dark meat has more calories than white.
