  My husband is really picky about his banana bread and we LOVED this recipe! I make it for all the holidays. It was a big hit for easter rather than a rich, guilt filled dessert! I also had to cok it for about an hour and 10 minutes...exactly...

  I absolutely cannot believe how delicious this is! A favorite among my entire household! It did need to bake for a good hour and 10 minutes, though... It just wasn't getting done in 45 minutes. - 2/14/08

  Very good! I used 4 mini bread pans and assuming 4 large pieces each, I get 16 servings. I used sour cream but think greek yogurt will work as I usually have that on hand and not the SC for next time. I also significantly cut the sugar down to 3/4 C and don't miss it. - 3/10/21

  I added 1/3 cups of chopped walnut to the batter. Found that baking time was longer and place foil to keep outside of loaf from becoming burnt. Will use this recipe every time we are in the mood for banana bread. - 11/15/20

  worst recipe EVER. WAY too sweet. Very greasy. Took over an hour to cook all the way through. This doesn't even taste like banana bread! (or cake as you trying to pass it off as) Very disappointed.
