This is one of my very favorite recipes my grandma used to make (only with Tomato soup instead of juice). The juice makes it less calories, but it still tastes fantastic. - 7/28/07

I subbed lean ground turkey for the ground beef in this only because that's what I had. My family loved it. Even my picky teens! We will be making this again. - 8/3/10

Not as good as cabbage rolls, but a lot easier. Didn't like the oregano, would spice it up differently. Also used the 46 oz bottle of tomato juice, probably would have been too dry without it. - 8/19/07

I made this for dinner - 2 dinners actually - and it was very good. It did need some salt. When I make it again, I think I will put a couple of slices of bacon on top of the cabbage, just for the flavor. - 8/15/07

I used one 46 oz can of tomato juice which this recipe needed. The top of the cabbage was a little dry even with the added juice, and the cabbage was medium. I used more spices (italian seasoning, salt and pepper) in the meat and tomato juice. We did enjoy this. - 8/7/07

Simple, good and my husband liked it. Recipe for success! Looking forward to trying it with ground turkey or chicken. - 8/5/07

You could also use Ground Turkey instead of ground beef to further reduce calories. This sounds like dinner for tomorrow! - 7/31/07

    O.K.
We tried this, it was ok. I love cabbage and cabbage rolls, but this wasn't what I expected. I didn't use enough tomato juice, so I added some canned diced tomatos and a can of tomato sauce. If I'd added more spices it would have been better. - 7/30/07
