Introduction
This is my own recipe for meatballs that I use in my spaghetti sauce! Also delicious as a base for sweet & sour meatballs, etc. Baking them in the oven prior to adding to sauce bakes off any excess fats. I made these tonight for diner. I did add a chopped green pepper and a chopped onion into the mixture. They turned out very well. On their own they were a little bland, however in the sauce they were great! This is a wonderful meatball base to start with and the cook can tweak to his/her liking. - 7/24/11
