Ingredients

1 2-Lb Costco Sirloin Tip Pork Roast
1 Envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 Can Campbell's Healthy Request Cream of Chicken Soup
    1 tsp. Dried Thyme
    1 tsp. Dried Rosemary
1/4 Tsp dried red pepper flakes
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 cups water (My slow cooker runs extra hot, so I need this much water to prevent scorching. Use less for a normal slow cooker.)

Directions

Mix soups, spices, and water in slow cooker to blend, then add roast. Cook on low setting for 10 hours, until pork is cooked through and is falling apart.

Serves six, including pork and sauce (which is great over brown rice.)

I'm going to make this recipe tomorrow but I am going to use chicken broth instead of water because I think it will give a much richer, and I have NEVER made anything in my slow cooker that took more than 8 hours, so I think the 10 hour cooking time is a bit much. I will get back and let you know. - 5/3/19

    Incredible!
Delicious!! So soft you could cut it with a fork. I used cream of celery soup instead and gravy was fabulous. - 2/8/15

Made yesterday and it was excellent. I agree that you need to cut back on the water. I wouldn't even add 1/2 cup next time. There will be a next time. - 3/20/11

Thanks so much for the tip. I have edited the recipe to note that less water is best if your slow cooker doesn't run hot, which mine does.

    Very Good
This was very good. The "gravy" was quite runny so we chose not to use it (also reduced the calories). Definitely a do over. - 1/24/11

Very good, with a nice rich "gravy." I only used 1 cup of water, and it was just enough. Will make again. - 2/3/10
