Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1lb Ground Beef 93% Lean
    1 Garlic clove
    1 tsp Sugar
    1 tsp Salt
    2 tbsp Black pepper
    *1 tsp Italian Seasoning
    0.5 tsp onion powder
    0.5 tsp Garlic powder
    1 tbsp Oregano
    1 tbsp dried basil leaves
1.5 28oz cans whole peeled tomatoes
    1tbsp grated parmesan
    1 cup chopped onions

Directions

Take your cans of tomatoes and pour contents into a blender. Blend the tomatoes so that you get a nice smooth liquid.

Dice your onion (I used a sweet onion) and set aside, take the garlic clove, crush it and then finely chop it. Put 3/4 of the onion and the garlic into the crockpot with the tomatoes.

Add the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, salt, sugar, 1 tbsp of black pepper and grated parmesan to the crockpot.

In a skillet brown the meat along with 1 tbsp of black pepper and the 1/4 cup of onion that you set aside. Cook meat until there is no pink remaining. Once cooked add the meat and onions to the crockpot.

Cook the pasta sauce on low for 5 to 6 hours. Cook your favorite pasta (I use whole wheat) per the instructions on the box. Drain the pasta. Take half cup of pasta sauce and pour it over 1 serving of the pasta.
