    Incredible!
This is delicious and super easy! The longer you simmer, the better it is. I like my sloppy joes a little sweet, so I used honey barbecue sauce. A great use for TVP as it absorbed the flavors from the liquid. Definitely going to add this to my weekly meals. - 3/6/16

    Incredible!
Great recipe! I make this at least once a week. It is incredibly delicious and tastes just like meat sloppy joes. If you like your joes to be sloppy, you'll want to add more water. I usually double the recipe, then add more water to get the consistency I want. Serve with oven fries. Yum! - 5/28/14

    Very Good
As written, this was ok. With my modifications it was absolutely delicious! I only used 1/2 cup of dried TVP, 1/3 of an onion, 1/4 of a bell pepper, 1 tsp of brown sugar, 1/4 tsp liquid smoke and garlic powder. With a generous amount of pepper and salt. - 12/17/12

I thought this was very good. My husband refused to try it. He had hamburger sloppy Joes. Until I tasted his regular sloppy joe to see the difference, I didn't miss the 'beef' taste. May put a bit of bouillon in next time. Thanks for the great recipe! - 5/21/11
