Yes it has sugar, but it is a cookie after all. The recipe is not called "Low Sugar PB cookies" it's called "Easy PB cookies." And besides, SparkPeople is about a healthy lifestyle-which includes moderation. Making a dozen cookies & eating 1 won't cancel out the last 100 healthy choices you've made. - 8/23/12

The way some people are commenting you would think this was 1,000 calories or something. GAIN WEIGHT? On one occasional cookie? Really? If anyone has to count their calories that much that they cannot enjoy one tiny simple treat than that's a real shame. I have (GASP) ice cream once a week. - 8/23/12

I agree with the other ladies.....this recipe is not saying it's super healthy, they are saying it's simple 3 ingredients! it has alot of protein! and with any sweets its all about how many you eat. eating one of these cookies is not going to be horrible, if you dont want to make them then dont! - 8/23/12

The people who are complaining must either lack common sense or lack intelligence! Just because a recipe is posted doesn't mean that you HAVE to make it! If its too much sugar, reduce the amount or sub it for sweetener or another alternative. Or to prevent you moaning further, just DON'T MAKE THEM! - 8/24/12

The recipe I use is equal amts of PB (I use the organic kind with no sugar) and dry milk, that I've used since my kids were little. It's a no-bake, though adding an egg would require baking, and I'll have to try that. It's good with chocolate bits, too, though I prefer the 90% chocolate to frost. - 8/23/12

I made the recipe as is the 1st time, but I agree with others; 197 cal is an awful lot for one cookie, so I made 3 doz smaller balls. Next time I'll try half sugar, half stevia, or all stevia to get the sugar down, and I'll continue making them small. Can't wait to try almond butter variation! - 8/23/12

I have to admit, I was disappointed when I clicked through my email to see this recipe. SP is promoted as a healthy website for people who want to live more healthy lifestyles. It is confusing when SP endorses a recipe that is not healthy as if it is, even in small quantities. This is a sugary snack - 8/23/12

I looked to see who had originally posted this recipe and the user was NOT found. I baked this just the other day.my 1st batch burned beyond recognition, the 2nd, better. However, as I am trying to lose not gain weight and I went over my caloric intake yesterday, am more interested in substitutions. - 8/23/12

I've known about this recipe forever! I used to make these in high school(I'm in my mid-40s).They're not the greatest PB cookies, but they are easy.I don't do artif.sweetener(or any fake "foods").I'd use brown sugar(& less of it)&PBw/omega-3 if I makethese again. That would be healthier,in moderation. - 8/23/12
