I would recommend making your own low-fat, low sodium Alfredo sauce instead using one from a jar. Also, adding parsley, oregano a pinch of nutmeg& 1 tsp of minced garlic would make this meal even better. Toss in some sauteed mushrooms, red onion, and cut spinach, and it's amazing. - 3/13/11

    Good
It was good, but rather bland tasting, even though, I added onion, garlic and mushrooms. Next time I will add other spices to kick it up a bit, it was super easy to put together. - 3/23/09

Sounds great but I'm new to the slow cooker. Do you put the chicken in frozen or thawed? - 6/3/08

    Good
IT WAS GOOD, BUT WHEN I MADE MY OWN ALFREDO SAUCE, IT WAS EVEN BETTER. I ALSO ADDED A FEW MUSHROOMS TO THE STRING BEANS - MY FAMILY REALLY LIKED THAT ADDITION - TOPPED WITH SOME SILVERED ALMONDS, AND IT CAME OUT TOP-NOTCH. - 2/21/08
