Introduction

Quick and easy and you will think it came from a high quality restaurant. Quick and easy and you will think it came from a high quality restaurant.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 Tilapia fillets
    4 Tbsp Fat Free Mayo
    2 Tbs Honey
3 tsp Mustard - any kind, I prefer stone ground or brown.
    1/2 Cup Almonds, ground

Directions

Mix Mayo, honey and mustard.
Place tilapia in pan coated with cooking spray.
Spread half of the mayo mixture over the tilapia.
Sprinkle half of the almonds on top and pat down into the mayo.
Flip fillets over and cover with remaining mayo mixture and almonds
bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Serves 4

I have also made this with boneless skinless chicken breasts - just adjust the bake time to 30 minutes - depending on thickness of the chicken breasts.

Fantastic! Thought we had honey, but didn't so we used real Maple syrup and that did the trick. Our kids really loved it too. Definite Keeper! - 1/17/09

This was super yummy ! My I needed to cook it quickly so just made the recipe for one tilapia fillet and eyeballed the mayo mixture and slapped it on after having grilled it. 10 more minutes on the grill and it was ready yum! - 1/25/12

I think that I used a little too much of this dressing on the fish because it was a little too sweet. It was pretty good and I think that I'll try it on chicken next time. - 9/24/08

If you like the general flavor, but just a little too sweet, try using less Honey and a little more mustard. If you find it way too sweet, see my reply below to GGkids7 this may be more to your liking.

Sorry, I did not like it. Guess I just don't like sweet fish. I will not make it again. - 9/2/08

To Make this dish more savory, you might try omitting the honey & add a bit more mustard, maybe a little chilli powder to give it a little flair. Another thought might be to omit honey, add a little Soy sauce & substitute ground Sesame seads for the Almonds. I will try that one & report back.

Pretty darn good. I like dryer fish than most, so I baked it for 30 minutes. Next time I will only do 3T of mayo and add 1 more tsp of brown mustard. I also cooked a chicken with it and the chicken was very good. I will definately bake this again. - 6/15/08

I had to fiddle with the recipe for one, and only had walnuts in the house, and it still was really tasty! Since the sauce has such good flavor it is great with a steamed veggie, like broccoli. - 3/26/08
