Very tasty! I didn't use the mandarins, not a fan, used o.j. instead. Cut cinnamon a bit, half the brown sugar, and next time less clove. Will make again. Would be a great sauce for pulled pork! Thanks! - 11/2/10

This seemed almost like a dessert - SO sweet! We'll try to lower our carbs next time with less sugar. Ran out of ketchup so halved with BarBQ Sauce. Yum! Our pork chops were a little tough - used boneless mini ones and so didn't let it cook as long; perhaps more cooking time tenderizes better. - 12/4/08

This was yummy, yummy, yummy! I will make this again but will use less brown sugar as it was a little too sweet for me. My hubby and 9 year old daughter loved it and it's a perfect meal to pair with rice! - 6/4/08

Used mutton chops, it was great but too much sugar added ginger. Used oranges as do not get canned oranges. Would be great with fish & chicken too. - 5/26/21

A tasty sauce. I didn't use all the cinnamon, cut back on the sugar, used less cloves and added garlic. I cooked my sauce down a bit so it was like a thick glaze. The next time - and there will be a next time - I might even double the sauce as it was that good! - 12/6/17

We really enjoyed this. We, too, used a fresh orange cut into bites rather than the mandarin oranges, and we used fresh orange juice instead of the canned juice. It was a terrific recipe; thanks for sharing. My husband said, "We should definitely put this in the rotation!" - 4/8/13

Used pork tenderloin instead of chops (didn't have that), half the brown sugar, fresh oranges juice and a little tabasco sauce. Cooked it for 25 minutes and served it with Basmati rice and peas.
    Absolutely delicious.
    Thanks.

Tangy but sweet! I noticed some people said that their chops were sort of dry so I cut off 10 minutes of cook time. Ours were VERY tender and moist!

This was really good, however, I would not cook the pork chops that long again. Maybe only 20-25 minutes, because they were really dry. But the sauce is awesome - love the flavors! - 6/27/11

I have cooked a couple of recipes from this site and have to admit, this one was the best, I'm going to have a hard time finding one to beat it. Changed the White Vinegar for Wine Vinegar with Raspberries, not sure if it changed the taste but it was awesome and a keeper. and impressed my date :)

Sauce was delicious and would go great on any accompanying rice or veggies. I must have browned my chops too long because they came out tough and overdone, but don't worry, that didn't stop me! - 5/18/10

Excellent taste, but I agree with previous person that the sauce became too thick to simmer and actually began to burn. I added some Captain Morgan Spiced Rum for a nice zing and to thin it out towards the end. - 1/3/10

This got mixed reviews at my house. I really enjoyed it while the kids didn't really care for it. They wanted to barbeque sauce and Kenyon said it was ok but a little too sweet. - 11/9/09
