Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 Lg. Potatoes or 4-5 small potatoes
    2 Stalks Celery, chopped
    1 Cup Baby Carrots
    2-3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
    1/2 pkg. Frozen Mixed Vegetables
    1 Can Small Navy Beans, drained
    1 pkg. Lipton's Onion Soup Mix
    1 quart or 32oz Chicken, Beef or Vegetable Broth
    1 280z. Can Diced Tomatoes
    1 Lb. Hamburger, browned and drained
    4 Slices Bacon, Chopped then browned
    1 Cup Ditalina Pasta or Rice
    Salt and Pepper To Taste

Directions

In Slow Cooker Add:

Chop celery, carrots, potato and garlic and add to slow cooker. Add broth. In a Skillet brown bacon and add bacon to cooker. Brown ground beef in bacon grease and Drain Well when meat is done browning. Add hamburger to pot. Then add soup mix, navy beans, frozen vegetables and set pot to desired time, 4, 6 or 8-10 hours. Add pasta or rice in the last hour or two of cooking. Serve when pasta is tender.

This recipe can be put together the night before then place in the crock pot the day of and let it cook for desired time. Add pasta or rice when soup is almost complete, in the last hour or so.
