Ingredients

    2 Tilapia Filets (works well with mahi mahi also)
    3 T Honey
    3 T Soy Sauce
    3T Balsamic Vinegar
    1 Clove Garlic minced

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix last four ingredients in a shallow dish. Add fish filets, and let marinade in fridge for at least 20 min. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until fish flakes.

    I didn't have garlic & I cooked it stovetop (college problems) but still great! EDIT -- once when I was short on time, I poured the soy sauce & vinegar right onto the frying pan and drizzled honey on both sides. Cooked 2.5 minutes on both sides. formed a delicious coat and the fish was sooo juicy! - 7/6/12

    This really was easy- I marinaded it in the dish I was going to cook it in while making a pasta salad and slicing carrots to cook. I baked it without draining the marinade. Only uses one dish this way. It turned out perfect! Even the family members who don't like fish enjoyed this. - 5/14/08

    This is a great recipe, althouh I think if you make a reduction of the marinade and then cook the fish in the reduction, it would make the flavor pop a little more. I am going to try it that way next time. But overall, great flavor! - 4/21/08

    Excellent!! I made this along with cous cous and asparagus. Cooking the fish in a shallow dish made from pottery put everything back a further 20 minutes so my asparagus was overdone. I was able to time the cous cous just right. The extra marinade went well poured over the cous cous. - 6/8/12

    Fantastic! I ended up making mine with less honey than indicated (since I was quadrupling the recipe to cook up my value pack of tilapia, and ran out of honey) but it was still awesome. Also crushed extra garlic into the sauce and it made the dish! - 11/15/10
