I liked the seasoning in the meatballs, but the brown basmati rice in mine stayed hard and raw (I assume this recipe was written for white basmati, so I'll give it another try with that). - 12/28/11

    Incredible!
Terrific. My son asked what was for dinner, when I told him Turkey Porcupines - he said it didn't sound good and he would get something else. He broke down and tried them, he thought they were great! - 9/18/10

    Incredible!
Amazing! My mother-in-law used to make a similar dish but I could never get it right. This recipe was even more delicious then hers and I'm sure more healthy. So easy and so good. - 4/2/09

    Incredible!
I made these tonight and they were great!! I grew up on a meal basically the same but with beef and no brown sugar. The sugar adds an extra flavor that is excellent!! I used instant brown rice and it cooked perfectly. I also added a little extra garlic salt. We will be having this meal often. - 4/6/08

    Very Good
Very good. The sauce was a little sweet for me, so next time I'll decrease the amount of brown sugar. And I added a bit more salt because I felt it needed it. And more garlic powder, because I LOVE garlic powder - 4/1/08

That says CANOLA oil, not coconut oil. Good grief. - 2/28/08

Coconut Oil? Seriously? You might as well deep fry it if you use that stuff. Why can't you just bake them? One tablespoon has a whopping 117 cal and nearly 14 grams of fat. I bet it tastes good but I don't think I would call it healthy. - 2/2/08
