Introduction

A "peppy" twist to a garlic knot. Serve with a salad for a meal or as an appetizer at your next party. Use part-skim mozzarella to lighten up the rolls even more. Enjoy! Ingredients

    1 can (8) Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls
    24 pcs Hormel Turkey Peopperoni
    2oz. whole milk mozzarella
    1tsp garlic powder
    1tsp dried parsley
    8 sprays of butter flavored cooking spray

Directions

Makes 8 rolls (2 per person)

Preheat oven to 375. Cut cheese into 1/4 oz pcs. Unroll each crescent and flatten out to an even triangle. Place 1/4 oz cheese and 3 pepperonis on the larger end of each triangle. Starting with the larger end of the triangle roll up the crescent and fold in the corners to close. Place the roll with the smallest corner of the triangle facing up on the baking sheet. Spray each roll with 1 spray of a butter flavored cooking spray (or any butter spray) and then sprinkle each roll with garlic powder and dried parsley. Bake for 11-13 minutes.

You can serve with a marinara sauce (not calculated in calories) or just eat them as is.
