Introduction

Can use pork, chicken, or turkey. Easy, easy! Can use pork, chicken, or turkey. Easy, easy!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 boneless pork chops, trimmed
1 cup stuffing mix (ground into fine breadcrumb consistency)
    1 egg, plus 2 T. water, beaten
    3 T. butter, melted

Directions

Pour melted butter into 9x13 baking dish. Dip each piece of pork into egg mixture, then coat with stuffing mix. (I pour the stuffing/fine breadcrumbs in a gallon ziplock and pull a "shake & bake"!) Arrange pork in baking dish and cook at 425 F for 20 minutes. Turn pork over and cook for 10-15 more minutes. (I cut the baking time by approx 5 minutes on each side when using thin-sliced chops.) This typically makes 4 servings, depending on the package of meat you buy. Our family loves it!

I was surprised at how tender the meat was! I loved the crunchy coating. The taste was good, but too subtle. - 2/28/09

I really loved this, because I love stove top stuffing, but the recipe is a little misleading about the calories. What size pork chop did you use for this amount of calories? Will make again, just wanted to get the nutritional values. - 2/28/09

I made this tonight for dinner. My husband and I both loved it. I'm not a big fan of pork chops usually but this was moist and had great flavor. Super easy to do, too! - 2/8/09

I love this easy recipe ... SO SIMPLE! I used thick cut boneless pork chops and Italian bread crumbs (I added a little sweet paprika). I used 2 chops in a glass baking dish, baked (15 min. on each side), and it came out incredibly juicy and DELISH! A MUST if you're short on time. :) - 8/27/11
