Introduction

I made this trifle for my mom (who is diabetic) for her birthday. It turned out REALLY yummy. What little bit of sugar is in here, could either be left out completely or could be replaced with another sweetener. The agave nectar is low on the glycemic index. Good ideas with your recipe. My husband makes trifle several times a year and it is always the hit of the party. He uses fat/sugar free vanilla pudding only. No cream cheese. Strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, banana. So, similar to yours but his may reduce the sugar and calorie content a bit. - 8/9/09
