The fat content is higher than I would care for, yet still a good recipe. - 1/7/09

These were great. I switched the peppers to one jalapeno, cut the mangos to 1 cup, and omitted the butter to make them a bit lower in fat. Great flavor and very filling! - 2/5/08

This is a yummy recipe. I like the combination of salty, sweet, and spicy. I substituted the turkey with chicken and the raisins with craisins one night when I didn't have turkey or raisins. - 3/27/07

It was very good. Definitely a unique combination of flavors that may not appeal to everyone. I'll probably make it again sometime, but not that frequently. - 3/20/07

We love this recipe. We usually eat it one night in tortillas as per the recipe and then serve the left overs over brown rice the following night. - 3/9/07

Olive oil is better than butter. You can roast the spices and add to the olive oil and the chicken it will give it a lot of flavour; skip adobe sauce. I don't think this recipe is fattening & cut down on the salt. Great one. - 1/7/09

I'd substitute olive oil for the butter, use white meat turkey or chicken and finish off by covering with more salsa and baking in the oven. - 1/7/09

Still wonder why recipes like this are always for serving of 8. Who really needs to make eight of them??? The number of servings and the fact that I would have to cut it down and down. Just make me pass on anything like this. - 1/7/09

Yummy! This is not overly high in fat as another rater suggested, and substituting the butter for olive oil would ensure a heart healthy meal! - 1/7/09
