We have made this recipe with crumbled sausage, it changes the nutritional value but it is still great either way. Enjoy.

I cooked this recipe this morning with some substitutes like I made homemade bisquick using finely grind pretzels. I also added red peppers, onions and mushroom. Also used mozzarella cheese along with cheddar. I also exchange bacon with turkey sausage. It was oh so good. Thanks for this recipe - 9/8/13

I love this recipe & have made it several times. It is great when you are craving for Breakfast for Dinner as well as a lazy weekend brunch. I speed up my prep time by pre-cooking bacon and freezing it in batches. Then when the craving hits, I can pull out the bacon crush and I am ready to go. - 12/27/16

I haven't tried this recipe and it sounds delicious (as a vegetarian I would use Morningstar Farms bacon or sausage), however, I have to question the nutritional statistics. With the baking mix and the maple syrup, are there really only 15g carbs/serving? Is it because of the serving size? - 12/30/14

This was delicious!!! My entire family ate this! My most picky eaters had seconds. I did double the recipe and I am glad I did as I don't think I would have liked how thin the single batch would have been. Only a little left over. Great meal for the winter snow we are having. Will make again. - 3/1/12
