Easy to make, beef was nice and tender. I didn't have any beef bouillon (oops), so I just used chicken instead, and it was fine. - 1/11/10

Very good. To cut back on salt I ditched the bouillon and soup mix. Instead I used fresh mushrooms and fresh onions, chopped up. I added a few herbs. - 2/24/14

Absolutely love this recipe. It is incredibly easy to prepare and very tasty. I only used one bouillon because I don't like things too salty and it was just perfect for my family. I will be making this again soon! - 6/28/11

I have done Stroganoff many many times on the stove with hamburger......and it's sensational. Don't know if the hamburger would stand up to long hours but I'm sure it would be fine if you shorten the cook time.

I use ground buffalo but didn't change the cooking time and it was perfect. Great flavor, very filling, wonderful comfort food. My husband, who doesn't normally like red meat, loves it and even said he'd love to have it once a week! - 1/8/10

DELICIOUS! I made this for a group of people for a New Year's Eve party and got many compliments. No one believed me when I told them it was low-fat. I even used Fat Free Sour Cream and it tasted amazing. A+ - 1/1/10

I really like stroganoff, we have never made it in the slow cooker, and the ingrediants are pretty much the same. We do use lean ground beef sometimes, the majority of the time probably. It is still quite good. There is little to no difference in the taste. Thank you for the slow cooker version! - 11/2/09
