Introduction

Now, let me say first, I am not claiming this is a "healthy crazy good for ya" bread. It's just plain good and is better for you than most store bought HFCS breads. :)
I am posting this since I have close friends who eat this bread every time I make it and they need access to the info.

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 cup Milk, nonfat
    1/4 cup Butter, unsalted
    1 larg Egg, fresh
    3 cup organic bread flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
1.5 Tbsp cinnamon, ground (i use a lot up to u)
    2 tsp baker's Yeast

Directions

load ingredients in order into bread machine
set for sweet cycle (if not sweet cycle I use the dough cycle followed by the bake. Makes it a bit softer but works ok)
that's it! It smells awesome towards the end!
Yields 12 decent slices including the ends.

I wrap mine with plastic wrap right out of the pan so the crust stays soft.

sssssssooooo good!! i added half a cup of oats and subbed a half cup of whole wheat pastry flour to get a little extra fiber. This bread is amazing, fluffy, and delicious! I thought that 1.5 tbsp of cinnamon would be over powering, but it wasn't, it was perfect! Thank you for the awesome recipe!! - 9/18/09

I loved this recipe!! I did however edit it just a little bit. I wanted a little bit sweeter bread and I love the taste of brown sugar. So, I used 1/3 cup of light brown sugar and 1/4 cup of regular sugar. It came out so wonderfully!!! - 9/9/14

    Bad
This recipe completely ruined my breadmaker. I followed the recipe but I think the large amount of sugar made the bread burn. Underneath the burned bits the bread was quite nice, but not nice enough to make again. Sorry. :-( - 7/18/14

Superb! Substituted soy milk and margarine as concession to an allergy, but followed the rest exactly and got a nice lofty loaf with great flavor! Was GONE after b'fast so didn't get to try at lunch paired with ham or slightly smokey turkey, but would be delicious that way as well. - 10/16/12

Thanks so much for this recipe. I just received a bread machine for Christmas and was leary of the recipes in the Sunbeam booklet. I followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfectly ! Thanks for letting me have a great first experience with baking bread :) - 2/6/12

This was very good. The only thing is you may need to heat your milk before putting in bread machine, my machine would not go because the milk was too cold, had to put the bread pan in over to warm and then make. Awesome...love it! Made the house smell wonderful! thanks1 - 1/25/09

You can cut 45 calories out of this by using egg substitute instead of real eggs and light butter instead of real butter. Doesn't change the taste at all. - 1/13/09

This was the first time I made bread not using a pre-packaged mix. Turned out amazing, and my kitchen smelled awesome! Now I just have to concentrate on not eating the whole loaf... ;) - 1/10/09
