I make this all the time! But I add celery and sometimes a little spaghetti. Makes a nice low-calorie veggie! I use the sliced cole slaw mix in the bag when I find it cheap instead of having to shred my own cabbage and it includes shredded carrots too! - 9/16/08

I've been making fried cabbage for a long time. I used to do it in butter or oil and then found Pam Butter Flavored spray, this really cuts back on the calories and tastes vitually the same!! I love it!! - 7/20/09

A nice option for a hot veggie. Quite bland when prepared exactly as directed. I added vegetable bouillon powder, salt, and back pepper. A flavoured oil, like olive, might also be nice. - 12/31/09

Really good- also fry a little mustard seed and add a dash of turmeric and cumin, and it is wonderful! I really don't like cabbage at all unless I fry it like this. - 7/29/12

Perfect basic recipe, great for adding personal spin. I like to add crushed red pepper, lite soy sauce, splenda and a few toasted sesame seeds at the end. Thanks for adding! :) - 6/21/11

I make this once a month or so. I cook in two TBS bacon grease and add crushed red peppers. I also add half cup of water and cover with a lid. This helps it cook faster and makes it steamed as well as fried. Very good. - 3/21/11
