the conversion for g to lbs is to divide the g by 28.35. This recipe is calling for a pound of the ground beef. - 4/16/09

    Very Good
Easy way to use lean hamburger and fresh tomato from the garden. It is basic and you'll likely want to add more spices to zazz it up a bit. - 7/29/17

    Very Good
I used brown rice, and left out the green peppers (kids won't eat them) and onion (doesn't agree with me). The result was a little bland, but a great starting base. With the right additions, could be fantastic! - 6/4/09

    Good
I was relally looking forward to this because I love ground beef. Not sure if I did something wrong but mine turned into a pile of mush. You could not even tell there was rice in it. it seemed a little bland so I added more spices. If I made it again I would cook rice and serve over the rice. - 4/27/09

Is this instant rice or the real thing?
I believe I will make this next week but use ground turkey instead of beef.
