Wonderful. I don't use the honey, I use a frozen banana instead. 1frozen banana, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 6 oz. Plain fat free Greek yogurt. Add banana, strawberries to food processor, pulse until uniform particles, add Greek yogurt scrape sides and pulse til creamy. You have softwerve strawberry - 7/12/11

Thank you for your compliment! I found that putting it into popsicle molds is a nice way to portion it out as well. :-) Stay sparked!

Delicious, tart, and refreshing! This was great straight out of my ice cream maker, but got a tad hard after sitting in the freezer. A few minutes on the counter before serving helps it scoop easier. - 8/7/11

This is the simplest frozen yougurt recipe you will see with the best result by far. The custard is creamy and more than satisfying. Make sure to use the freshest berries for the best results. A true winner. - 5/30/09

I, like bananafish11 make it in popsicle molds. I leave out the salt and the honey. If the berries aren't sweet enough I use a fat free vanilla yogurt. Or I use any fruit yogurt and fresh fruit, ie: peach yogurt and mangoes, blueberry yogurt with fresh blueberries, etc. My grandson loves them all. - 8/9/13

This was fantastic and so simple! The tip about putting it in popsicle molds was great as well. I'm going to try this with raspberries next time... - 6/21/10

I made this the other day, it was very good but got very hard in the freezer. Next time I think I would just do the same thing only in my vita mix and use frozen berries. - 7/22/14

I tried this icecream with the tip of someone using a banana instead of honey and indeed: it tastes delicious! - 4/3/14

My biggest complaint about this recipe and all the others posted is that the serving SIZE is never listed. It says serves 6, so a serving would be just a smidgin over 1/2 cup which is pretty small. - 4/3/14

I have a yonanas maker. I simply grind up frozen berries (+/- a banana). No honey. It's sweet enough and comes out the texture of ice cream or sherbet!!! - 4/3/14

I can't wait to try it! I'm vegan so I will make it with agave nectar and tofu instead of honey and yogurt. Sounds absolutely delish! Also considering freezing it in ice cube trays and then putting in a food processor once frozen. - 6/8/10

Easy to substitute Stevia or other zero carb sweetener. I don't have an ice cream maker, so I remove this from freezer when almost frozen, whip with a hand mixer and then refreeze. You can do the first freeze in an ice cube tray to make it easy to whip it with a hand mixer. - 6/12/15

Very good. I have a Deni 1 quart mixer (that doesn't require you to do the whole salt/ice stuff), so this couldn't have been easier. I skipped the step about putting it in the freezer for 4 hours--we liked it right out of the ice cream maker--it was just like the soft-serve at the fro-yo places. - 4/4/14

I followed other's comments and added a banana instead of honey and I didn't churn it. I do have an ice cream churner but haven't used it in years. I didn't want to try to find it and clean it, so just froze it. - 7/21/21

Good recipe but requiring an electric ice cream maker is ridiculous. How many people can afford an extraneous machine like that? Why not include instructions for those of us not privileged enough to own special appliances? - 3/25/20
