I make my own yogurt from heavy cream and this cuts the carbs waaaay down--and no sweeteners are needed. Works with blueberry too! Submitted by:

Easy and delicious! I don't use the salt but it still tastes great! Submitted by:

I don't use sugar of any kind so this is not an option for me. Submitted by:

That looks so good. Only problem is the high carbs for me. Still will probably try it when I can. Submitted by:

Easy to substitute Stevia or other zero carb sweetener. I don't have an ice cream maker, so I remove this from freezer when almost frozen, whip with a hand mixer and then refreeze. You can do the first freeze in an ice cube tray to make it easy to whip it with a hand mixer. Submitted by:

I love this recipe, but my Nutritionist has me off of all dairy, could I use soy yogurt and get the same results? Submitted by:

Very good. I have a Deni 1 quart mixer (that doesn't require you to do the whole salt/ice stuff), so this couldn't have been easier. I skipped the step about putting it in the freezer for 4 hours--we liked it right out of the ice cream maker--it was just like the soft-serve at the fro-yo places. Submitted by:

I, like bananafish11 make it in popsicle molds. I leave out the salt and the honey. If the berries aren't sweet enough I use a fat free vanilla yogurt. Or I use any fruit yogurt and fresh fruit, ie: peach yogurt and mangoes, blueberry yogurt with fresh blueberries, etc. My grandson loves them all. Submitted by:
