I got this in my email inbox today and can't wait to try it. My only wish is that it had come out earlier in the summer when strawberries were in full season. Perhaps Chef Meg could begin making the recipe of the day something more in tune with the current seasons? I would love that! - 9/23/09

If the recipe calls for 1 c of strawberries, why does the nutritional info say you only get .38 of a cup? Shouldn't that be 1/2 cup?? Anyway, no big calorie difference. It needs more filling for me, but the flavor was good. - 2/4/11

My family and friends love this. We also make low-fat peanut butter and banana sandwiches the same way (whole wheat pita bread and grilled). Cream cheese and peaches or nectarines are great, too. A small sprinkle of spice or herb (depending on your ingredients) before grilling works well also. - 6/19/10
