I made this yesterday. My husband and I both enjoyed it very much. I will definitely make it again. It could use a little more flavor. I will add seasoned tomatoes with chiles next time. Very easy to make too. - 9/2/08

I made this today, it was very good. I like beans but was not in the mood for them, so I added mushrooms, baby carrots, 1 clove of garlic, and 1/4 tsp. pepper instead. I also used half the amount of broth and tomatoes. Thanks for sharing your recipe! - 3/23/07

This was a great filling stew. Instead of 2 cans of diced tomatoes, I used one 14.5 oz can and one 10 oz can of Rotel spicy tomatoes. They gave the stew a little kick and extra flavor. Great recipe for a cold day! - 1/14/13
