This was okay, I thought the meat could use more flavor. If I made again I would use more seasoning and chop up the turkey instead of shaping it like a patty - 6/19/07

    Incredible!
Delicious! I love a good gyro, and this was a satisfying alternative. I used OPA feta dill Greek yogurt dressing instead of making the sauce. I didn't have any parsley and I love cumin, so I used a full teaspoon and it was yummy. Kangaroo Pita Pockets are perfect for this. - 7/28/14

    Incredible!
I really like this, my daughter didn't care for the sauce, and my husband a picky eater ate it all. - 10/14/11

    O.K.
I really didn't enjoy this recipe. I would say too much lemon juice in the sauce & the turkey could definitely use more seasoning. - 4/18/11

we LOVEd this!!! taking into account all the reviews here, my variation was to sub in onion salt for onion powder. I made this more like a gyro, cutting the thin patties into all different size strips. Thanks for this one, I've been meaning to make it for awhile!!! - 4/16/10

    Good
So this was good, but not as great as we were hoping for. The pita bread that our store has breaks apart terribly ... so we need to find another source for the bread. It's good, but we're not that mad about it. - 5/20/09

    Very Good
I will try this again leaving the turkey ground up, I think it would be easier to eat. The sauce was amazing! I got the flatbread pita on accident so I didn't have a pocket to hold it all in. I only had one pita and ate the 2nd burger by itself! Good that way too! - 2/20/09

It looks like each serving includes two patties and two pita halves. Does the nutrition information include the pita bread? - 1/29/09

The tzaziki sauce was excellent. I made it with non-fat Greek yogurt to gift an authentic and creamy flavor. A great easy lunch option. - 11/27/07

Very good - similar to Falafel but without the deep frying! Could easily be made vegetarian with soy meat. Sauce is delicious. - 7/19/07

Low calorie and filling. I put it on whole wheat pitas and it was only 369 calories total for two pockets. - 5/13/07
