I cut the cocoa a little (3/4 TBS) which cut the bitterness, and microwaved it for 35 seconds. The shortened cooking time made it less spongy and more like a brownie consistency. Topped with a small bit of light Cool Whip...it's great! - 1/7/11

I loved this! So so good and easy. Noticed people where commenting on the consistency, could be you are not using enough baking soda. I used 1/4 tsp came out perfect, just like a brownie. I will be making this again.

AMAZING!!!! 100% better than the "No Pudge" brand and cheaper too! I really cannot believe how good this is. I did have to double yogurt. It appears more yogurt = more cakelike consistency.

I didn't have yogurt so I used applesauce. I also used "sun crystals" (stevia plackets that i use for my coffee) instead of sugar and it came out absolutely perfect!! Also threw in a little vanilla extract. YUM! Will make this a lot more :) - 2/5/10

I agree that this had a weird consistency and was sort of bitter. I like the idea of this though, so I might play around with the recipe. EDIT: I added a little more sugar, a little less cocoa powder, and used soymilk and a dash of vanilla extract instead of yogurt. It was much better than before! - 4/22/10

oooh! I tried it both ways, with the white flour and the whole wheat with 2 TBS of fat free yogurt. I didn't have vanilla, so I added a bit of almond extract. 2 thumbs up! we liked the Whole wheat better which, in this house is unusual - 2/27/10

This has a weird consistancy. Almost like jello/pudding. I had to put more sugar in it because the batter was extremely bitter. I don't think I'll make this again. I would rather just have chocolate pudding to fix my chocolate craving. And that's saying something because I love brownies! - 1/23/10

love it! I especially like that I can make it with greek yogurt so it is basically lactose free. Helps to mix dry ingredients before adding the yogurt. I add a little Mexican vanilla. It was a bit sour with regular sugar and greek plain yogurt so I switched from sugar to Splenda brown sugar. - 11/6/12

This is really good made with unsweetened applesauce instead of yogurt too. If you spoon half of the mixture into your bowl, then place one piece of hershey's special dark chocolate on it, the put the rest of the mixture on top of the chocolate, it makes a great molten lava cake with only 125-130cal - 6/28/12

Splenda for baking, a dash of vanilla, pinch of salt, 3/4 T cocoa. It made enough to divide into 2 ramekins and it was plenty. - 8/14/14
