Introduction
I usually make this with chicken, but I didn't have any. Besides, pork is the other white meat and tastes just as awesome! I usually make this with chicken, but I didn't have any. Besides, pork is the other white meat and tastes just as awesome!Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
2 cups of Kraft Free Zesty Italian Dressing
2 5oz pork chops
Directions
In a small baking pan (I use a 9inch glass pan), pour 1 cup of the dressing in the bottom. Make sure to coat the entire bottom.
Place the two pork chops in the pan and gently stab with a fork or knife until the pork is "holy" (you can stab the pork before you place in pan if you are worried about damage to your pan). These holes allow the dressing to sink into the pork. Then, pour the remaining cup of dressing over the pork. Cover the dish and place in the fridge to marinate for at least 6-8 hours (it tastes much better if you allow them to marinate for 24 hours).
Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and cook (covered) for 45 minutes or until pork is thoroughly cooked. I like to serve mine with fresh, steamed green beans and a lite pasta side.
This will make 2 4oz servings (pork will shrink with cooking)
