1 1/4 lbs sweet Italian sausage, caisings removed, crumbled
    1/2 cup diced onion
    3 cloves garlic, minced
1 28oz can Italian plum tomatoes, drained and coarsely chopped
    1 1/2 cups whipping cream
    1/2 tsp salt
    12 oz bow-tie pasta, cooked
    3 tbsp minced fresh parsley
    Grated Parmesan cheese

Heat oil in large heavy skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until no longer pink, stirring frequently, about 7 minutes. Add onion and garlic to skillet and cook until onion is tender and sausage is light brown, stirring occasionally, about 7 minutes. Add tomatoes, cream, and salt. Simmer until mixture thickens slightly, about 4 minutes. Add parsley.

Made this recipe for the first time almost three years ago from the Allrecipes website. It's a family favorite! The only thing I do differently is I use a 14 oz. can of diced tomatoes and an 8 oz. can of sauce. (Personal preference) - 12/3/08
