Ingredients
-
For 2 servings:
4 oz. / 112 g of whole wheat spaghetti (or any spaghetti or linguine)
2 TBS Trader Joe's Satay Peanut Sauce (or other brand, or make your own with the next five ingredients, basically)
1 TB smooth peanut butter
1/2 tsp fish sauce (asian ingredient)
1 tsp Sriracha hot sauce (http://www.huyfong.com)
3 garlic cloves
1/8 tsp ginger root powder
Optional:
Garnish with chopped scallions, ground peanuts, cilantro, or sesame seeds. Probably good with a squeeze of fresh lime, too.
Directions
1. Put a pot of salted water to boil that is enough for how much pasta you are cooking.
2. Get out all the ingredients.
3. Measure out the 2 servings of noodles (2 oz./56 g each serving) and set aside.
4. Mix the sauce ingredients with a fork or small whisk. Adjust flavors for your own taste.
5. Put the pasta in the boiling water and cook until al dente.
6. Drain quickly (leaving some wetness on the noodles) and put back in the pot. Add the sauce and stir.
7. Garnish, if you like.
8. Eat!
