Ingredients
-
1 1/4 cup white flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup applesauce
1/3 cup splenda granulated (16 tsp)
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 F. In bowl stir flour/cocoa/baking soda/salt.
In another bowl stir together wet ingredients applesauce/sugar. Pour in dry mix slowly. Stir around to make sure everything is nice and blended.
Step 2
In pan grease lightly. You will want to use a medium size brownie pan. Pour in mix. Place in oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Stick fork or toothpick to see if it comes out clean. Place on counter to cool for 20 to 30 minutes. Recipe makes 16 squares.
Step 3
When it comes to brownies, some like them chewy some like them soft and falling apart. The longer you keep them in the oven the of course harder and chew-ier they will be. Just make sure you watch them close. As i have said before I like them chewy because they take longer to eat and satisfy more! Enjoy.
