Ingredients

    1 head of fresh cabbage
    1 lb ground bison
    1 large onion
    1 can tomato soup
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1/2 c. water
    Salt and Pepper to tast

Directions

1. Boil cabbage in a large pot until leaves have separated.
2. Dice Onion
3. Combine bison, onion, salt and pepper
4. Combine soup, tomatoes and water in a large bowl and mix
5. In the slow cooker, add a layer of cabbage leaves to the bottom
6. Place meat over cabbage leaves
7. Add 1/2 of soup/tomato/water mixture over top of meat
8. Layer rest of cabbage and then cover with remaining soup mixture.
9. Cook on low for 8 hours.

I prefer this to come out like a soup when I make it. If you'd like to have a thicker consistency try cutting out the water or adding rice to the meat mixture.
