Ingredients

    400 grams pasta (fettucine, penne or angel hair)
    1 head of broccoli cut into small florets
    1.5 cups frozen baby peas
    bacon rashes (as much or as little as you like - I use 300 grams center cut)
    1 garlic clove
    1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
    1/2 cup chicken stock
    Parmesan to serve

Directions

Serves Four.

Cook pasta in large pot boiling water until al dente. Add broccoli and peas in the last 2 minutes. Drain and return to pot.

Meanwhile, cook bacon in large frying pan for 3-4 minutes until golden. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until aromatic.

Add sour cream and stock and bring to boil. Simmer for a few minutes until thickened slightly. Pour mixture over pasta and toss.

Top with parmesan to serve
