Introduction
This is an adaptation from a recipe given by fitness expert and triathelete Karena Dawn from the issue of Women's Health, May 2010, page 74. I used Kamut Flakes instead of Old-Fashioned Oatmeal to reduce the calories, cranberries in lieu of dried apricots and upped the cinnamon from "taste" to 1 Tbsp. Ingredients

1 cup natural peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
1 cup honey
1 cup **Kamut Flakes
1 cup diced dried cranberries
1 cup sliced almonds
3 scoops chocolate protein powder
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
Directions
1. In medium-size pot, heat honey & peanut butter on stove over med heat until texture is runny.
2. Mix in cranberries, nuts, kamut flakes, protein powder and cinnamon. Stir until all ingredients are well coated.
3. Let mixture cool in fridge.
4. Roll into 2 dozen bite-size balls using about 2.5 Tbsp per ball.
MAKES 24 BALLS.
