Introduction

This recipe, courtesy of the Neely Family (www.foodnetwork.com), has to be the absolute BEST BBQ sauce ever! We use it for everything BBQ...pulled chicken/pork, grilled chicken, as a dip, etc!

For tender grilled bbq chicken, marinate chicken breasts in bbq sauce for a couple hours. Then place into a foil packet (easily made with aluminum foil) along with a slice of green bell pepper and a pineapple ring. Grill the packets for 17-20 minutes.

Ingredients

    2 cups ketchup (Heinz)
    1 cup water
    6 tablespoons brown sugar
    5 tablespoons white sugar
    1-1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
    1-1/2 teaspoons onion powder
    1-1/2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
    1-1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 lemon, juiced (approximately 1-1/2 tsp)
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce (Great Value)
    1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 teaspoon light corn syrup

Directions

Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a large saucepan or Dutch oven.

    Incredible!
Easy, very tasty with my pulled pork. Made with common pantry items on those nights where you're out of bottled BBQ sauce.. - 5/1/14
