Ingredients

    12 oz. ground bison
    4T ground flaxseed
    4T finely chopped onion
6 shakes McCormick grill mates for hamburger
4 slices reduced fat cheese (cheddar)
    8 slices tomato
    4 whole wheat buns

Directions

Mix together bison, flax, onion, and grill mates. Form into four patties. Cook to preferred temp using frying pan or grill. Cover with cheese, add to buns along with two tomato slices per burger.

Note about cooking ground bison: it has a very "soft" texture when raw/rare, so if you prefer rarer cooking temps, it can have an unpleasant/unfamiliar texture. I'd recommend cooking this a little longer than you would beef.
