Ingredients

    2 cups shelled walnuts
    1 egg white
    1 tsp water
    3 Tbsp sugar
    3 Tbsp brown sugar
    1 Tbsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions

Makes 12 servings

Preheat oven to 250 F.

In a large bowl, combine egg white and water. Stir in sugars, cinnamon and salt. Add walnuts and toss until coated. Spread walnuts on waxed paper on baking sheet.

Bake 60 minutes at 250 F, stirring ever 20 minutes.

Serve warm or cooled. Enjoy!

    Just made these today and YUM! I used a mix of 2tsp cinnamon and 1tsp ginger (+ replaced the sugars with calorie-free versions) and still these are EXTRAORDINARY. They're like candy!!!! Definitely a household favorite. And the texture is just great too, plus so easy to make. A+ recipe! Thanks!! - 5/19/12
