Ingredients

    12 jumbo shell pastas
    4 oz fat-free cream cheese
    6 oz fat-free cottage cheese
    1 cup fat-free shredded mozzerella
    1 cup chopped mushrooms
    2 cups marinara sauce
    3 tsp granulated garlic
    1/2 tbsp dried oregano
    1/2 tbsp dried parsley
    1 tsp dried rosemary

Directions

Set oven to 350 degrees before beginning prep-work.
Cook jumbo pasta shells until they are nearly done-- al dente.
Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms and spices. Mix well.
With clean hands or spoons, pack pasta shells with cheese mixture.
Place each stuffed pasta shell into an oven-safe high sided container.
Pour marinara evenly over stuffed shells.
Cover with foil and place into oven for about 20 minutes.

    I made this last night. It was great even my kids loved it!! I did as others had suggested and added both some garlic and spinach to the filling. So good. I will be making this again. - 10/8/08

    this was very good but I added veggies to it....chopped spinach, a little grated onion and some grated carrots I mixed the veggies in with the cheeses. I'm big on throwing extra veggies in where ever I can. I want my kids to get lots of veggies and it helps cut down a little on the calories in dish - 9/29/08

    These were great! A lot easier than I though! In the filling I added shredded zucchini and carrot for more nutrition! I also included spinach instead of mushrooms, because my family doesnt eat mushrooms! Overall, great recipe!!!!! - 5/10/12

    Added zucchini, spinach, and substituted 2 oz of cottage cheese for skim ricotta and was pretty good. Although I had to triple the recipe for the whole box of shells. - 9/25/12

    Just had this for dinner. I'm a cheese lover and this great. I forgot to buy granulated garlic & used powder & it was alot but not overpowering. I used a whole jar of marinara and there was plenty of that leftover. I threw in some frozen bagged meatballs for my husband & that kept him satisfied. - 5/17/09

    Has a salty taste to it, it is very yummy and FILLING. DEFINITELY filling. My husband who eats like a horse could only eat 3 of them, but suggested less salt. - 3/20/09

    I cooked these when my vegetarian brother was over during the Thanksgiving holiday. They turned out really good, and are very easy to make! The only thing was, I had not idea what granulated garlic was, so I ended up using a tsp of garlic salt..too much for me, but everyone else loved them!! - 12/2/08

    Truly delicious! I think the next time I make this I'll add in some shredded chicken---hubby said he's not overly fond of vegetarian dishes and asked for meat in it next time. But, I thought it was delicious just as it was. - 10/16/08

    I don't like too much spice of any kind, and don't care for mushrooms. It doesn't matter,though, because I always use less spices ,than most recipes call for. I use my own judgement . This sounds good,and I will probably try it later. - 9/29/08

    This sounds delicious! I will have to make it using something other than fat free, though, because anything that is free of fat is VERY high in sodium! I don't like mushrooms, so those have to go.
    I hate having to choose between high fat or high sodium. :-((
