Ingredients

Whole Wheat Pastry Flour, 1 cup
Baking Soda, 1 tsp
Baking Powder, 1 tsp
Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
Trader Joe's Organic Brown Sugar, 1/2 cup
Banana, fresh, 3 small, mashed
Organic Spectrum Shortening, 1/2 cup
Trader Joe Organic Lowfat Plain Yogurt, 1/2 cup
Milk, nonfat, 2/3 cup
Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips, 1 1/2 cups
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
1. Add dry ingredients in a small bowl, whisk until combined.
2. In a large bowl beat sugar, mashed bananas, and shortening together until creamy, about 4 minutes on low setting. Banana will still be a bit chunky.
3. Stir in yogurt, milk, and vanilla to creamy mixture.
4. Slowly add dry ingredients to creamy mixture, beat until just combined.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Spray loaf pan with cooking spray, may coat lightly with flour.
7. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. May sprinkle chocolate chips on top of loaf when 5 minutes remain.
Cool for 20 minutes before cutting from pan. Enjoy!*
*Store in an air-tight container.
