Introduction

I bought a new grain mill, and found oat groats in the store, and had to try milling some. So this is what comes from a bright idea. Very good, light and fluffy. Ingredients

    1 cup fresh ground oat flour
    2 cups fresh wheat flour
    2 3/4 cup milk
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1/3 cup butter, melted
    1/2 cup apple sauce
    1 tbs baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp baking soda
    2 tsp salt
    1 tsp sugar

Directions

Mix all ingredients together well. Bake on a hot waffle iron until done. Makes about 16 waffles
