Introduction

This is my 'go to' meal, when I have come home after a long day and the only other choice is *du-dumm* fast food. It is quick, easy, and if you keep a bag of these frozen gems in your freezer, you can whip this up in an instant and save on calls to the pizza man! Ingredients

    1/2 pat of butter
    2 tsp garlic, grated
8 large shrimp, peeled and de-veined.
    dash of sea salt/cracked pepper
lemon juice (just enough from one wedge of lemon)
    balsamic vinegar, 2 TBSP
white wine, 1 fl. oz (this can be optional, but it really does add a little something)

serving of spinach pasta (or whole wheat.)

Directions

prepare pasta as directed on package.

meanwhile,

brown butter in frying pan.
add shrimp, tossing so it coats in butter.
add garlic, moving around the pan..
let sizzle in its goodness for 2 minutes.
add salt/pepper, and squeeze of lemon.
pour balsamic vinegar over shrimp, again moving pan around so everything is combined nice and evenly.
finally, drizzle the white wine over (if using), stir to incorporate, and turn off heat.

arrange pasta on plate, scoop shrimp out of pan and onto pile of warm pasta (one always manages to pop into my mouth before it makes it that far.... Chef's rules), pour remainder jus over pasta.

Enjoy (with a glass of wine...?)
