Introduction

A no mayo version of a classic sandwich. A no mayo version of a classic sandwich.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 can of Tuna in water (3 oz.), drained
    1 Celery stalk (small), chopped
    1 Tbsp red onion, copped
    1 Tbsp dry dill weed (more or less to your liking)
    3 thin slices of tomato
    1 inner leaf, Romaine lettuce
    1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 Tbsp Balsamic or Red Wine Vinegar
    1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
    2 Slices of whole-grain bread

    *Optional***Juice of one lemon wedge

Directions

- Open and drain the tuna from the can.
- Place tuna in a small bowl and flake with a fork to break up the chunks
- Drizzle the tuna with the oil and vinegar; add the mustard
- Chop up the onions and celery and add to the bowl
- Sprinkle the dill weed into the bowl
- Mix all the ingredients well in the bowl and taste (for added seasoning)
- Add the tuna mixture and lettuce leaf on one slice of toasted whole grain bread top with the 3 slices of tomatoes and the second piece of bread
