Number of Servings: 45

Ingredients

    1-1/4 c. + 2 T. all-purpose flour
    3/8 t. baking soda
    1/4 t. salt
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy reduced fat)
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. nutella
    1 egg
    1/2 t. vanilla

Directions

In a small bowl, stir together flour, soda and salt. Set aside. In large bowl with mixer, beat butter for 30 seconds. Add peanut butter, nutella and sugars; beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and beat until well combined. Shape into 1- to 1-1/2 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, approx. 2 inches apart. Crisscross with fork. Bake at 380 degree F. oven 10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing. Makes 45 cookies.

    Can splenda or stivia replace the white granulated sugar? If so i wonder what the amount would be. It might alter the taste but I'm guessing only slightly. - 12/28/14

    Can't wait to make them but will replace the margarine with Earth Balance and see what happens. Making them for Thanksgiving next week. Wonder if an adjustment needs to be made for a non-high altitude area? Will give star rating after I made them. - 11/18/11

    Incredible!
    I did not have margerine so I used butter and I didn't even use a full 1/2 cup of either sugars. I only had the natural creamy peanut butter so I don't know if that makes a difference in calories but I thought this cookie was yummy, thanks for sharing the recipe, I will definitely make these again! - 6/28/10
